PRE-CARE
Preparing Your Results
- Expect redness, warmth, swelling, and a sunburn-like sensation for the first few days. As your skin heals, peeling and flaking are normal and should not be picked or scrubbed.
- Keep the treated area clean and apply the recommended healing ointment or moisturizer exactly as instructed to protect the skin barrier and promote healing.
- Avoid direct sun exposure while your skin is healing. Once approved by your provider, wear a broad-spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen daily and use a wide-brimmed hat whenever you’re outdoors.
- Refrain from using retinoids, exfoliants, acids, scrubs, or other active skincare ingredients until your provider confirms your skin has fully recovered.
POST-CARE
Protecting Your Results
- Avoid rubbing, massaging, or applying pressure to the treated areas for at least 24 hours, as this could move the product and affect results.
- Stay upright for at least 4 hours after your injections and avoid lying down or vigorous exercise immediately afterward to reduce swelling and bruising.
- Avoid alcohol, saunas, or hot tubs for 24 hours, and refrain from facial treatments or massages for at least 1–2 weeks to protect the injection sites.
- Expect mild redness, swelling, or slight bruising, which usually resolves within a few days. Results typically appear gradually over 3–7 days and last 3–4 months, depending on the area treated and individual metabolism.
