Awake Lipo is a minimally invasive body contouring treatment designed to remove stubborn fat and sculpt your shape without general anesthesia. It’s performed using local anesthesia while you’re awake, allowing for a safer, more comfortable experience with quicker recovery.
Unlike non-invasive treatments that offer subtle changes, Awake Lipo directly removes fat from targeted areas for more precise, noticeable results. A small, specialized cannula is used through tiny entry points to gently break up and suction fat, helping contour and define the body while minimizing trauma to surrounding tissue.

Preparing Your Results
- Stay well hydrated the day before and the morning of your procedure; eat a light meal so you feel comfortable during treatment
- Avoid alcohol, smoking, and blood-thinning medications (like aspirin or certain supplements) for at least a few days prior, as these can increase bruising
- Shower the morning of your procedure and avoid applying lotions, oils, or creams to the treatment area
- Wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring your compression garment if provided; plan a light schedule afterward so you can rest
POST-CARE
Protecting Your Results
- Wear your compression garment as instructed to help reduce swelling, support healing, and improve your final contour
- Stay hydrated and take short, light walks throughout the day to promote circulation and reduce stiffness
- Expect some swelling, bruising, and mild soreness for a few days—this is normal; avoid strenuous workouts for about 1–2 weeks or until cleared
- Follow all aftercare instructions carefully, including medications and follow-up visits, to ensure the best results and smooth recovery
